Improvement of civil registration and vital statistics in Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP Resolution 67/12)

This resolution called for ESCAP and development partners to convene the High-level Meeting on the Improvement of Civil Registration and Vital Statistics in Asia and the Pacific. Among other things, it encourages members to review and assess the current functioning of CRVS systems so that the results of the country assessment can be incorporated into national strategies and plans.
