The National Inception Workshop on the Production of a High‑quality Vital Statistics Report for Thailand will bring together key national and international stakeholders to launch a collaborative process for developing Thailand’s first comprehensive, policy‑relevant vital statistics report. The workshop will provide an overview of the project’s objectives, scope, and institutional arrangements, situate Thailand’s efforts within the regional context, and share international and country experiences in producing vital statistics reports. Participants will review preliminary findings from the scope and needs assessment and engage in guided group discussions to define the report’s content, analytical scope, disaggregation, reference period, and long‑term sustainability. The workshop will conclude with a plenary discussion and agreement on next steps, milestones, and stakeholder contributions.
