Connecting vital events registration and gender equality (ConVERGE)

The Centre of Excellence for CRVS Systems, along with Open Data Watch and UNFPA, will be hosting a conference from 25-26 February 2020 on "Connecting Vital Events Registration and Gender Equality". The ConVERGE Conference will assess the progress made in the CRVS and gender equality field since their first annual meeting in 2018.

This event will evaluate present-day and future opportunities and challenges to ensure all civil and vital life events are universally registered, as well as certified and granular vital statistics for improved development planning are generated and used, and to contribute to the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.
