This document highlights children’s voices and views on civil registration and vital statistics (CRVS) across Asia and the Pacific. Through national level consultations and a regional forum, children and youth across the region expressed their views, experiences on CRVS, as well as their recommendations.
It presents the results of the in-country consultations of children (below 18) and youth (18-24) on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) in Asia and the Pacific and the key points discussed by children and youth delegates in the regional forum. Children and youth discussed their experience on or knowledge of birth, marriage, and death registration. They also shared their recommendations to improve registration.
