Cambodia's Ministry of Health launches new “Digital Health Database for Birth and Mortality Records”

Cambodia has held a workshop on the implementation of the nation’s new digital Notification and Cause of Death system. The workshop, organised by the Department of Health Planning and Information and Vital Strategies, welcomed participation across the Government of Cambodia, universities, provincial health departments and administrations, private health facilities and development partners.

The new system will record and report birth notifications, death notifications, Medical Certification of Cause of Death, and recording the cause of death by using the ICD standards.
