Second capacity building workshop on assessing Inequalities in CRVS in the Philippines

ESCAP, in collaboration with the Philippines Statistics Authority (PSA), and with the support of Bloomberg Philanthropies Data for Health (D4H) Initiative, held a workshop 23-25 January 2024 in Manila. This second workshop was primarily focused on assessing wealth inequality in birth registration from survey data with 30 participants from different divisions in the Philippines Statistical Authority (PSA). Discussions were held on applying these techniques to CRVS inequality assessments and generating policy-relevant evidence.
